La Roche Posay Anthelios sunblock

Q. I’m wondering about the sunscreen products from La Roche Posay. The Anthelios sunblock products like ANTHELIOS L SPF 60 are suitable for vegans and are fragrance free.

A. All the ingredients we use in a product are listed on the package or the label of the product itself.  Since some ingredients are known by more than one name, we use the standard industry names for ingredients as found in the International Cosmetic Ingredient Dictionary.  This dictionary lists FDA-recognized names.

These products do not contain animal derived ingredients. In our manufacturing process we take precautions to prevent cross contamination.  Our equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to conform to our cleansing validation standards.  The possibility of contamination from prior product manufacture is almost impossible.

We hope this information is helpful.

Sincerely,
Consumer Affairs Coordinator

Notice that L’OrĂ©al does have products with honey, bees wax, lanolin from sheep, fish based ingredients, keratin from feathers, ingredients from eggs.

Whink Wash Away

I'm looking at your product found here

http://www.whink.com/wash_away.htm

What I wonder is if they contain any fragrance. My family is sensitive and has allergies.

Do they contain anything of animal source? Are they suitable for vegans?

Thank you for contacting Whink Products Company.
Whink Wash Away does not contain any ingredient that is made from an animal source so we believe that it is suitable for vegans.  It does contain microbial enzymes be we're not sure if that goes against the vegan way of life.
Wash Away does contain a very small amount of a mild citrus fragrance.  If you are sensitive to fragrance, be sure to where household rubber gloves when applying Wash Away to the stain.  Also rinse the garment well after using Wash Away and then launder the garment before wearing it.
Thank you,

Nisim newhair products for vegans?

Thank you for your interest in our products.  No they do not contain any animal byproducts.

The shampoos control the hair loss and the extracts stimulate new growth.  Conditioners are not necessary but the key is the shampoo and extract.  You should shampoo daily...a double wash and rinse then apply the extract once in the morning and again in the evening.  If you are shampooing again during the day you can go ahead and apply the extract again.  I wouldn't use if more than 3 times a day.  You would just be wasting it.

Regarding your sensitivity issue.....I would recommend doing a small test patch prior to using the products.

Hope this helps.

Best regards,

Nisim International

Fragrance free Laundry Detergent

I am allergic and sensitive to a lot of stuff and need a perfume/fragrance free Laundry Detergent preferably for a HE front loaded machine. I have tried some different ones but none makes my clothes real clean. Not even from sweat after using a t-shirt for one day. There are still splotches on the clothes. Please come with good suggestions.

SPRAY ‘n WASH fragrance free

SPRAY ‘n WASH from Reckitt Benckiser seems to have great products to get out the toughest laundry stains. But there is a problem with the products. They contain fragrances.
A big wish is that they make products without fragrances. That would also make their market larger because so many are allergic or sensitive to perfumes and fragrances. Many fragrance free laundry detergents need some kind of booster to really clean the clothes.

I would especially like to have these two products without the strong fragrances they have today.

SPRAY 'n WASH Dual Power Laundry Stain Remover
SPRAY 'n WASH In-Wash Liquid

If you too agree on this please contact the company and let them know what the customers want. Do it through their website or call at 1-800-888-0192 or 1-800-228-4722. Please also add a comment below as well as if you have a suggestion for an alternative that contains enzymes. Oxidizing agents seems to exists as separate products. Or is it possible to buy just the enzymes?
